Ahmed gets Trisha's nod to behave with JiivaPGV [ Mon, Mar 5, 2012 ]
- Trisha and Jiiva are coming together for the primary time in director I. Ahmed's 'Endrendrum Punnagai'. The 2 was within the industry for a very long time but they've had no opportunity to share the screen space before. When Ahmed approached her to play opposite Jiiva in his new film, Trisha took time to present her consent. She has already two films in hand one a Telugu film and the opposite is Vishal-starrer 'Samaran'.Ahmed's version is she seemed keen to be a part of his film with Jiiva, but she wanted time to verify she had the dates to spare time for it.She has now signed at the dotted line and Ahmed goes ahead together with his plans to launch the project with Trisha and Jiiva in summer.Reports quoted Trisha as saying that she found the script interesting and there can be romance and many fun for her fans.'Endrendrum Punnagai' doesn't fit into any particular genre. Will probably be an entertaining romantic musical with a liberal dose of humour dished out by Santhanam. The tale is set the connection between father and son. Director Ahmed has to do a little exercise to select the daddy character and he has finally selected Nasser.Ahmed may be considering Lisa Hayden for an important role. Many of the scenes can be shot in The big apple and Seytchelles because the film has "an overly contemporary script", says Ahmed. His last film was 'Vaamanan' starring Priya Anand and Jai. Harris Jayaraj would be the composer for 'Endrendrum Punnagai'.
