Gautham Menon’s Vinnaithandi Varuvaya (VTV) was a movie that gave a brand new image for Simbu. The romantic musical became a great hit and redefined the theme of affection in Tamil cinema.
The chemistry between Simbu and Trisha have been much mentioned and AR Rahman’s music was a perfect plus for the film. The scenic beauty as captured by Manoj Paramahamsa was another highlight of the film.
Now Gautham is busy along with his Neethane En Ponvasantham, but it surely seems he plans to have a sequel to VTV. If reports should be believed, the Gautham-Simbu duo have been in constant touch and was planning for the sequel. It's heard that the film might start rolling by Jan 2013.
Meantime, we also hear that Gautham is probably not making the proposed Suriya film immediately as Suriya will move directly to Lingusamy’s project after his Singam 2.
