Ajith starrer Mankatha was telecasted in Sun TV for Deepavali. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film had an enormous opening when it was released in 2011. Mankatha marked Ajith’s 50th film and received highly positive reviews and grossed the second one biggest opening of all time after Endhiran. The film’s plot revolved around a heist of cricket betting money, executed by a gang of 4 thieves, who were then joined by a fifth unknown man, and its aftermaths.
Now, reports say that Mankatha when telecasted for Deepavali has got the top TRP ratings in 2012. Actor Ajith has got an enormous fan following and he has yet again proved the similar with this TRP phenomenon.
