A major fire broke out at Express Mall, Chennai today. Costume designer Vasuki Bhaskar has tweeted, “Jus escaped a big fire accident at express mall 2 floor. Mall floors are blacked out n panic status. All being cleared out of mall.”
She has updated, “None to fret. Fire engine and ambulance at location. And everything is under control. Persons are out and that i don’t think anyone is hurt.”
According to reports the fireplace broke up in a shoe store located within the first floor. Thougu no causualities has been reported, all shows within the Escape movies was cancelled, including the noon and matinee shows.
