The leasing out of the land belonging to Nadigar Sangam was within the limelight for sometime now. The problem is now within the courts and Sarath Kumar, president of the Sangam have been accused of taking a choice in this in conjunction with Radha Ravi, his brother in law and secretary of the organisation.
However, Sarath has pop out in defense of his action and has tweeted, “The decision for the lease was ratified by the AGM and was aimed to make our association financially sound and to increase the prevailing. Pensions, educational and medical assistance to more members, help the society during natural disasters, for the reason that matter is subjudiced we can stay up for the verdict, we're confident and clear that what now we have done is for the betterment of the association.”
