Karthi and Premgi Amaren, the 2 stars who're busy within the sets in their upcoming movie Biriyani, have recorded a song for the film within the composition of Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Kollywood stars are being crazy about singing their very own tracks for his or her movies. Following the foot steps of Vikram, Simbu, Dhanush et al Karthi also joined the bandwagon along side Premgi Amaren. Being busy donning the directors’ cap for his Biriyani, Venkat Prabhu seems intended to have a soundtrack within the vocals of Karthi and Premgi for Biriyani and reportedly recorded it with Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Model turn actor Ganesh Venkatraman has bagged the danger to share the screen with Siddharth and Hansika of their upcoming out-and-out comedy caper titled ‘Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru’.

Basking with the success of his latest Telugu film Damarukam with Nagarjuna and Anushka, Ganesh Venkatraman signed Tamil/Telugu bilingual movie Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru under Kushboo Sundar’s production. Sundar C. will don the directors’ cap for Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru and Santhanam will maintain comic intervals.

“TVSK deals with triangular love story between Siddharth, Hansika and me. We play IT professionals within the film and Santhanam will do comic role. Telugu title for this bilingual continues to be in cards,” said Ganesh Venkatraman.

When asked, whether the success of his Telugu film has fetch him Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, Ganesh said, “Director Sundar C was considering me from the first, but happened to sign after the success of Damarukam. I loved Sundar C’s Kalakappu and kicked about working in his TVSK.”

Udhayanidhi does photoshoot with Nayanthara

Udhayanidhi, who's quite excited to pair up with Nayanathara of their upcoming untitled venture, has done a photoshoot for the movie yesterday.

“Photoshoot wit nayan 4 my next film wit dir Prabhakaran ! Thx 2 Venkat ram nd team!,” tweeted Udhayanidhi Stalin in his micro-blogging page. Director S. R. Prabhakaran of Sundarapandian fame will wield the megaphone for Udhayanidhi starrer, so one can have Santhanam in an important role.

Harris Jayaraj can be composing the music for this film under Red Giant Movie banner, which marks the second one heroic venture of Udhay after OK HAPPY WITH Hansika. Shooting of this yet-to-be-titled film will kick-start from January 2013.

Nani in Band Baajaa Baaraat remake

As KT reported viewers earlier Nani is been considered by the makers to play the role of Ranveer Singh on this untitled film, who've now confirmed his presence. Nani is thrilled to be acting on this bilingual remake venture, that is the primary production of Yash Raj Films banner in South India. Director Gokul, a former associate of Vishnuvardhan may be directing this Tamil/Telugu film.

Superstar Rajinikanth and Shriya starrer political-thriller ‘Sivaji 3D’ could be India’s first film to be released with Dolby Atmos, a brand new audio platform on the way to change the experience of sound and transport audiences into the tale with a lifelike, sensory experience.

“It is one in every of our most important innovations lately and represents the way forward for entertainment,” said Pankaj Kedia, country manager, Dolby Laboratories, in a statement.

It is understood that Jeeva and Thulasi Nair are pairing up for his or her upcoming movie Yaan, the primary directorial of cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran, the primary schedule of Yaan is wrapped up yesterday [Dec 3] in Mumbai.

Thulasi Nair has confirmed the inside track in her twitter page saying, “And that’s a wrap of the first schedule of Yaan ! Filled with action very thrilling! Enjoyed a lot.”

Finally we got an even news for Ajith fans, Yes Ajith-Vishnuvardhan project is sort of over and only 30 % shoot is remaining and the director wants marathon call sheet of the solid which contains Arya,Nayanthara ,Taapsee,Kishore and lots of. Vishnuvardhan needs 30- 40 days callsheet from them in order that he completes the film before April and the film might be releasing on May1 on Thala’s birthday. Even Billa2 was about to release on May1 but as a result of last minute rush the film postponed to July 13.

Being an ideal planner we are hoping Vishnuvardhan can be releasing the film on May 1 so one can be a really perfect treat for Ajith fans.After PS Vinod cranked camera for some portions now Om prakash takes maintain cinematography and Yuvan composing all of the songs within the film.Expectation at the film could be very high because Vishnu-Ajith’s last outing Billa 2007 was a blockbuster.

Vishal whose Samar is preparing for release has a secret behind it. The film was apparently not meant for Vishal but was meant for actor Arya. When director Thiru narrated the tale to Vishal, he was so impressed with the tale line that he desired to do the film himself. When Thiru reiterated that the script was meant for Arya, Vishal called up Arya and the great Samaritan he is, Arya gave the go ahead nod to Vishal immediately. Now Vishal is contemplating as the right way to compensate Arya for his selfish act of snatching away his film. Vishal while revealing the above also said that Arya allowed him to make a choice his character in Bala’s Avan Ivan too because it was a double hero subject.

Looks like there’s some meaningful friendship between the duo

The tale of Kadal Movie

Ace director Mani Ratnam has always been very secretive about his films. His latest with Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair is sort of ready. But he's yet to show even the faces of the actors. Despite the fact that he has released the poster of the film, the hero’s face is hardly visible. Within the meantime, there are reports that Kadal is all a few Christian boy and a Brahmin girl who get trapped within the high seas. They fall in love and as there's a huge communal violence happening the shore, the children are scared about their lives. They fear that they may become victims of honour killing. What happens to them makes the tale. It needs to be recalled that the lead pair of Kadal are the youngsters of yesteryear actor Karthik and Radha who started their acting careers with Alaigal Oyvathille. The film was in regards to the love between a Christian girl and a Brahmin boy and had a poignant climax where in either one of them relinquish their religions for his or her love. However, it's heard that Kadal’s climax may be just opposite to the above. Let’s be patient!

Dhanush and Jeeva Joins in New Film

Jiiva won several accolades for his acting in Nanban with actor Vijay. Now, he might join Dhanush to do a formidable role. He's going to be cast in Dhanush’s Raanjhnaa, directed by Anand L Roi. Raanjhnaa is the debut Hindi venture of Dhanush and he essays the role of a Benarasi Brahmin boy. Abhay Deol is doing a vital role within the film. Because the makers of the film need to profit the recognition of Dhanush within the south, they're making the film a bilingual – Hindi and Tamil. If everything goes well, Jiiva will reprise Abhay’s role within the Tamil version.

Director Hari, who's busy shaping up his Suriya and Hansika starring Singam 2, lauds Anjali for her fast-paced work.

As KT reported viewers earlier, Anjali was roped in by director Hari to do an item number in Suriya’s Singam 2. The actress has reportedly received praises from Hari and team for her performance and as Anjali has completed dancing for the peppy number composed by Devi Sri Prasad in an excessively short span of time.

“Director Hari appreciated Anjali for adding flavor to Singam 2 together with her peppy steps and Suriya seems pleased with the song,” sources said. Being produced by KE Gnanavelraja and his Studio Greens banner, Singam 2 is slated for summer 2013 release.

ABOUT INDO CINE APPRECIATION FOUNDATION:

Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation referred to as ICAF, a registered Film Society, have been working for promotion of excellent cinema in Chennai with about 500 members including Film Directors, cinematographers, cine technicians and movie lovers. ICAF started organizing – CHENNAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (CIFF) – from the year 2003 and every edition of CIFF has seen a steady growth in relation to attendance in addition to popularity.

Well begun is half done is the age old adage, team Neethane En Ponvasantham goes the additional mile to prove this wrong. The flicks expectations were sky high right from the word goes…be it the casting, the music or the trailers, there’s been a way of novelty and innovation in every step.

The proof the pudding is now out, the primary copy of the movie have been out and was seen by the Director Gautham Vasu dev Menon, Producer Elred Kumar and Isaignani Illayaraja. பெரிய நட்சத்திரங்கள் இல்லை, மாறுபட்ட லொக்கேஷன்கள் இல்லை, பறந்து பறந்து படப்பிடிப்புகள் இல்லை.

இப்படி பல இல்லைகள் கொண்டு ஒரு படம் உருவாகி பெரிய ஸ்டார் பட்ஜெட் படங்களின் வசூலையெல்லாம் தூக்கிக் சாப்பிட்டு விட்டது என்றால் நம்பத்தான் முடியவில்லை. ஆனால் இது நிஜம். அந்தப்படம் தான் ‘ஹோட்டல் ட்ரான்சில்வேனியா’ (Hotel Transylvania) இது ஒரு 3டி அனிமேஷன் படம்.

முழுக்க சோனி பிக்சர்ஸ் அனிமேஷன் கற்பனையில் வடிவமைப்பில் உருவான படம். இயக்கியுள்ளவர் கெண்டி தார்த்தா கோவ்ஸ்கி (Genndy tartakousky).

ட்ராகுலா என்றால் ரத்தம்,பீதி மனிதர்களை கொல்வது என்று இதுவரை பயமுறுத்தியே வந்திருக்கிறார்கள். டிராகுலாவை வைத்து வயிறு வலிக்க சிரிக்க வைக்க முடியும் அதுவும் குழந்தைகளை கவர முடியும் நிரூபித்துள்ள படம்தான் ‘ஹோட்டல் ட்ரான்சில்வேனியா’ அனிமேஷன் பாத்திரங்களுக்கு ஆடம் சாண்ட்லர்,ஆன்டி சம்பெர்க்,ஜெயின் ஜெம்ஸ் போன்ற நட்சத்திரங்கள் குரல் கொடுத்துள்ளனர். டிராகுலா ஒரு தங்கும் விடுதி கட்டி வைத்துள்ளது. அதன் வடிவமைப்பும் உரிமையும் அதற்கே சொந்தம். ஐந்து நட்சத்திர தகுதி கொண்ட ஹோட்டல் போன்று அனைத்து வசதிகளும் கொண்டது. மனித சஞ்சரமற்ற இடத்தில் அதை அமைந்துள்ளது. தன்னைப் போல டிராக்குலாக்கள்,பூதங்கள் அங்கு வந்து தங்கிக் கொள்ளலாம் என்பதற்காக இந்த சிறப்பு ஏற்பாடு.

ஒரு வார இறுதியில் தன் மகள் மேவிஸ்ஸின் 118வது பிறந்த நாளை பிரமாண்டமாகக் கொண்டாட நினைக்கும் டிராகுலா தன் நண்பர்களை அழைக்கிறது. மம்மி,இன்விசியின்மேன் போன்ற பூதகணங்கள் தங்கள் துணையுடன் அங்கு வருகின்றன. பிரமாண்டமானவர்கள் பயங்கரமானவர்கள் கூட்டம் கூடுகிறது. ஆனால் சில எதிர்பாரதவை நடக்கின்றன.

டிராகுலாவுக்கு மனித சஞ்சரம் பிடிக்காது. அதுபோல் காதலும் பிடிக்காது. இவை இரண்டின் நிழல் கூட தன் மகள் மேவியை 118 வயது வரை வளர்த்து விட்டது. ஆனால் அவ்வளவு பாதுகாப்பையும் கடந்து இரண்டும் யதேச்சையாக் அங்கே நுழைந்து விடுகிறது. மகளை காப்பாற்ற டிராகுலா படும்பாடு நகைச்சுவை ரணகளம். இப்படி முழுக்க சிரிக்க வைக்கும்படி உருவான இந்தப்படம் வசூலான படங்களின் வசூலை அசைத்து முதலிடம் பெற்று பெற்று முந்தியுள்ளது என்றால் பாருங்களேன்.

செப்டம்பர் 28ல் வெளியாகி அடுத்த இரண்டு நாட்களில் 4,25,22,194 டாலர்களை வசூல் செய்தது. இந்த வசூல் வீச்சு பிற படங்களை பின்னுக்குத் தள்ளி விட்டது. அக்டோபர் 5 முதல் 7வரை 2,70,53,395 டாலர்கள். 12 முதல் 14 வரை தியேட்டர்கள் 3349 லிருந்து 3375 ஆக அதிகரித்ததுடன் வசூலும் 1,72,41,317 டாலர்கள் ஆனது.

அக்டோபர் 19 முதல் 21 வரை 1,30,01,434. 26 முதல் 28 வரை 9,444,014 நவம்பர் முதல் வார இறுதி வசூல் 4,409,785, என்ரு பாக்ஸ் ஆபீஸ் களைகட்டியது. நவம்பர் 25 வரையிலான வசூல் 291 455 525 டாலர்கள். அதாவது 85 மில்லியன் டாலர் செலவில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட படம் குறுகிய காலத்தில் 291 மில்லியன் டாலர்களை அள்ளியிருக்கிறது. இதில் உள்நாட்டு வசூல் 49.3% என்ரால் சில வெளிநாட்டு வசூல் 50.7% இன்னும் ஏராளமான வெளிநாடுகளில் வெளியாக வேண்டியும் உள்ளது. விரைவில் நம் நாட்டில் வரும் வெள்ளியன்று வெளியாக இருக்கிறது.

இந்த அதிரடி வசூலையடுத்து இதன் அடுத்த பாகம் உருவாக்கி 2015ல் வெளியிடத் திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது

பழைய படத்தை ரீமேக் செய்து வெற்றிவெறுவது ஹாலிவுட்காரர்களின் துணிச்சல் எப்போதோ எடுத்த படத்தை மறு உருவாக்கம் செய்கிற போது காலத்துக்கேற்ப நவீன தொழில்நுட்ப ஜாலங்கள் புகுத்தி ரசிக்க வைப்பதுதான் வெற்றியும் பெற்று விடுகிறார்கள்.

1984ல் வெளிவந்த படம் ‘ரெட் டான்’ (Red Dawn) இப்படத்தை இதே பெயரில் மீண்டும் உருவாக்கி வெளியிட்டு எடுக்கப்பட்ட இப்படம்.வசூலிலும் சோடை போகவில்லை ‘ரெட் டான்’ படம் தமிழில் ‘கமண்டோ ஏகே 47′ என்கிற பெயரில் வெளிவருகிறது.

இப்படம் முதலில் அமெரிக்காவில் வெளியாகியுள்ளது. இரண்டே நாளில் 7.4 மில்லியன் டாலர் வசூல் செய்தது. அப்போது வசூல் படங்களில் 7வது இடம் வகித்தது.முதல் வாரத்தில் 14.69 மில்லியன் டாலருக்கு உயர்ந்து வார இறுதியில் 22,00,4000 மில்லியன் டாலரை அள்ளியிருக்கிறது. க்ரிஸ் ஹென்ஸ்வொர்த்,இசபெல் லூக்காஸ்,ஜோஷ் ஹட்சர்சன்,கானர் க்ருஸ் நடிக்க இயக்கியிருப்பவர் டேன் பிராட்லி இவர் ஸ்பைடர் மேன்,இண்டிபெண்டன்ஸ் டே போன்ற படங்களில் சண்டைக் காட்சிகள் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளாராகவும் இரண்டாவது யூனிட் இயக்குநராகவும் பணிபுரிந்த அனுபவம் பெற்றவர்.

இது ஒரு போர் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட ஆக்ஷன் படம்தான். இதை தயாரித்துள்ள நிறுவனம் MGM அதாவது மெட்ரோ கோல்டுவின் மேயர் (Metro Goldwyn Mayer) பல போராட்டங்கள் தடங்கள்களுக்குப் பிறகுதான் படம் உருவானது. 2008ல் இப்படத்தின் தயாரிப்பு அறிவிப்பு வந்தது. 2009ல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. 2010 நவம்பரில் வெளியிடத் திட்டமிடப்பட்டது.

ஆனால் பொருளாதாரப் பிரச்சனை ஒருபக்கம் தாமதப்படுத்தியது. கதையில் வரும் எதிரிகள் வில்லன்கள் சீனாவிலிருந்து வருவதாக ஆரம்பத்தில் கதை உருவாகி காட்சிகளும் எடுக்கப்பட்டன. இப்படி எடுத்தால் சீனாவில் படம் எப்படி வெளியாகி வசூல் செய்யும் ? எனவே வில்லன்கள் வடகொரியார்களாக மாற்றி கதை அமைத்து எடுக்கப்பட்டது.

வில்லன்கள் சீனர்கள் என்று இப்படத்தின் கதை அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள செய்தி சீனாவின் ‘குளோபல் டைம்’ பத்திரிகையில் வெளியாகி சர்ச்சை வரவே. சீனர்கள் என்பதை வட கொரியர்கள் என்று மாற்றி கதை அமைக்கப்பட்டது. இதனால் பல லட்சம் டாலர்கள் இழப்பு ஏற்பட்டது. இருந்தாலும் சீனாவுக்கென்று ‘ஒரு ஹாலிவுட் பட வியாபாரம் இருக்கிறது. எனவே சீனாவையோ சீனர்களையோ பகைத்துக் கொள்ள முடியாது என்ற வகையில்தான் இந்த மாற்றம்.

நாளைய பொழுது எப்படி விடியுமோ என்பது நம்நாடின் மக்களின் கவலை. அமெரிக்காவின் வாஷிங்டன் மாநிலத்தில் ஒரு நகத்தில் அதிகாலை நேரத்தில் பொழுதுபுலரும் முன் செவ்வானம் கலையும் முன்பு அன்றைய பொழுது எப்படி இருக்கப் போகிறதோ என்று மக்கள் கவலையுடன் காலைக்காக காத்திருந்தனர். ஆனால் அவர்கள் சற்றும் எதிர்பாராத ஒன்று நடக்கிறது. வான் வழியே தாக்குதல் நிகழ்கிறது. இதை எப்படி எதிர்கொள்வது என்று மக்கள் அதிர்கிறார்கள். நகரத்தை குறிவைத்து நாட்டுக்கே ஆபத்தாகி விடும் அபாயம் குறித்து சில இளைஞர்கள் மட்டும் பொறுப்புணர்வு கொள்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் க்ரிஸ் ஹெம்ஸ் வொர்த்,ஜோஷ் பெக்,ஏட்ரினா பாலிக்கி,கானர் க்ருஸ்,எட்வின் ஹாட்ஜ். தானுண்டு தங்கள் வாழ்க்கை உண்டு என்று மகிழ்ச்சியாக வாழ்க்கை எதி கொள்ளும் பதின் பருவத்தின் இவர்கள். இவர்கள் சொந்த ஊருக்கு அப்போதுதான் விடுமுறைக்கு வந்திருக்கிறார்கள். அங்கு தங்கியிருக்கும் போது அவர்கள் கண்ட அனுபவம், அவர்களைப் போராளியாக்குகிறது. தங்கள் நகரத்தைக் குறிவைத்து தாக்கி பேரழிவு ஏற்படுத்த முனையும் வடகொரிய போர்வீரர்களின் செயலை முறியடிக்க திட்டம் போடுகிறார்கள். இந்த ஐவர் அணி கொரில்லா முறையில் பதிலடி கொடுக்க தீர்மானிக்கிறார்கள். தங்கள் குழுவிற்கு ‘வால் வரின்ஸ்’ என்று பெயர் வைத்து கொண்டு அவர்கள் எப்படி அந்நிய சக்தியை முறியடித்து சொந்த நகரத்தைக் காப்பாற்றுக்கிறார்கள் என்பதே ‘கமாண்டோ ஏகே 47′ கதை.

ஒரு போர் சம்பந்தபட்ட கதை என்றாலும் அக்ஷன் படம் என்றாலும் சென்டிமெண்ட் காட்சிகளும் உண்டு.

வால்வரின் என்பது கரடி மாதிரி ஒரு விலங்கு, சிறந்த வேட்டையாடி அதன் நகங்கள் விசேடமானவை வேட்டையாடும்போது பயங்கரமாக இருக்கும். இந்தப் பெயரை வைத்துக் கொண்டு படத்தில் வாலிப வீரர்கள் செய்யும் சாகசங்கள் சிலிர்க்க வைக்கும்.

இப்படத்தின் கதை பற்றி ஆரம்பத்தில் நல்ல படியாக விமர்சனங்கள் வரவில்லை. நம்ப முடியாத கதை. காதில் பூ சுற்றுகிறார்கள். சின்னப் பசங்களை வைத்துக் கொண்டு கதை விடுகிறார்கள். என்றெல்லாம் எழுதினார்கள். ஆனால் பரபரப்பு விறுவிறுப்புக்கு பஞ்சமில்லை என்பதை மட்டும் எல்லாரும் ஒப்புக் கொள்ளத் தவறவில்லை. ரசிகர்கள் தீர்ப்பு விமர்சனங்களுக்கு எதிராக இருந்தது. படத்திற்கு அமோக வரவேற்பு கொடுத்தார்கள். வசூலில் மிரட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

இப்படம் அமெரிக்காவைத் தொடர்ந்து உலக நாடுகளில் வெளியாக இருக்கிறது. நம்மூர் தியேட்டர்களிலும் விரைவில் திரையிட இருக்கிறார்கள். பல ஆங்கில படங்களை மொழி மாற்றம் செய்து வெளியிட்டு வந்த ஏ.வி.மோகன் அவர்களுடன் ப்ளூ மேட் பிக்சர்ஸ் (BLUE MATT PICTUERS )இணைந்து வெளியிடும் முதல் படம் இது. இப்படம் தமிழ்,ஆங்கிலம்,தெலுங்கு,இந்தி ஆகிய மொழிகளில் விரைவில் வெளிவர உள்ளது.

Kamal Haasan Viswaroopam audio launch on Morning, Afternoon, Evening

The much-awaited audio of Kamal Haasan starrer Viswaroopam’s Tamil version can be launched in a gala manner on 7 December (Friday) across three cities of Tamilnadu. The forged and crew of the movie, produced by Raj Kamal Films International, will fly to Madurai on 7 December where the audio could be released at Velammal College Grounds. They'd then fly to Coimbatore where the gala event would happen at Hindustan College Grounds. Within the evening, the Vishwaroopam team will fly right down to Chennai to join the mega event with a purpose to happen within the city. The venue could be disclosed soon.

The movie directed and enacted by Kamal Haasan himself features Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Rahul Bose, Shekar Kapur in key roles. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy are the music composers. Recently the trailer of the movie was launched in 11.1 Aura sound technology, that's the primary time ever within the Asian film industry.
