- 'Poo Pookkum Osai' is a movie revolving around an actual incident that reportedly happened in a faculty. A TENDER girl regards love as her life and pride. But her father turns a villain and entraps her with a youth for whom love is play. The film is centered on these three characters.
Nivas makes his debut as hero on this film. Playing opposite him is another new face, Namrutha of Bangalore. Anand Babu is playing crucial character. Vedhas directs the film and likewise acts because the heroine's father. He has written the tale also. The screenplay and dialogue are by Perumal Ner. Vedhas C. Gurusamy and T. Muthukaruppan are the producers and T. Govindaraj is the joint producer. S. Bala cranks the camera and K.A. Sangeeth scores the music. The film is to be shot in Chennai and surrounding areas. Song sequences are to be shot in Mysore, Belgaum, Kasargode and Coorg.
