Ilaiyaraja, son Yuvan sing a song for Gautham's NEPPGV [ Fri, Mar 2, 2012 ]
- Music Maestro Ilaiyaraja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja have sung a song for Gautham Menon's 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' (YOU'RE My Golden Spring). Ilaiyaraja is the composer for the film and that is the primary time he's teaming up with director Gautham Menon.The special song sung by the father-son duo can have singer Karthik featured in it.
As NEP is a musical subject, Ilaiyaraja considers it as a unique and is giving it his best Yuvan himself is a number one music director and together with his joining the daddy at the track, the audience can expect the tunes to be really rocking.
Neethane En Ponvasantham has Jiiva and Samantha within the lead. A Tamil romantic film, it was inspired by a song in 'Ninaivellam Nithya' (1982). The film is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi also. Gautham plans to release it this summer.
